Who

The Lions Festival of Lights is a collaborative effort that draws upon many volunteers, organizations and sponsors. Through it all, the Calgary and area Lions Clubs members and volunteers keeps things organized and on track.

What

The Festival of Lights is the largest FREE drive-by Christmas Lights showcase in Calgary. It's comprised of almost 100,000 lights along 14 th St NW. Designed by Dean McKenzie, Creative Intelligence Agency

Where

The lights are in the SE corner of Confederation Park at the corner of 14 St and 24th Ave NW. You can get more information here

When

It starts on November 26, 2011 at 5:00 pm and goes until January 8, 2012. There are also plenty of opportunities to get involved and help us out. Click here to find out more information.

Why

Organizing the lights is the Lion's Club's way of saying thanks to the community for all their help in supporting Lions projects as we support those in need. And it's Christmas, why not?
